		<description>I think this is a widespread problem and that it is urgently in need of proper address.  

There should be education at secondary level on the subject of cults/guru abuse etc. and widespread knowledge on the topic so that one cannot be unwittingly drawn in.

I also think there should be a central governing body for Buddhist (and other) activities in the United Kingdom (and elsewhere).  There should be a safe, effective, efficient system in place and adequate protection by Law.  It is my belief that Regulation is urgently needed in this area, as at present the system is both inefficient (migratory gurus/disparate teachings for example) and inherently risky.

How many people have achieved the desired outcome compared to how many have undertaken it?  Very low efficiency rate... And very much abuse along the way.

In these days of efficiency and health and safety, surely the time has come to address Guru Abuse?</description>
